GoEco
Volunteer in Israel
GoEco has established dozens of ecological and humanitarian projects in cooperation with organizations both in the Arab and Jewish sectors in Israel. The organization offers an informed and vetted selection of projects to GoEco participants. Their target audience is the ecologically concerned and adventurous traveler who wants to explore a region firsthand and to get to know the local people, customs and eco-system through a vetted volunteer program.

Volunteer projects and internships include a Desert Wildlife Program, Social Food Program in Tel Aviv, At-Risk Youth in Jerusalem, Long Term Wildlife Program, Ecotourism Development in Nazareth, Mountain Eco Lodge, Coral Reef Conservation, Ecotourism Development in Central Jerusalem, and many more.

Interfaith Peace-Builders
Volunteer in Delegations to Israel and the Palestinian Territories
Interfaith Peace-Builders sends delegations to Israel and Palestine so that U.S. citizens can see the conflict with their own eyes. Participants have the opportunity to learn directly from Israeli and Palestinian nonviolent peace/human-rights activists, to spend time in Palestinian and Israeli homes, and to experience the situation of Palestinians living under military occupation. The delegations focus on seeing, listening to, and recording the experiences and perspectives of a wide range of Palestinian and Israeli voices.

Kibbutz Program Center
Volunteer in a Kibbutz in Israel
Volunteer, Ulpan (Hebrew and Study Program). Kibbutz Volunteers live and work on a kibbutz in Israel. Work can vary: agriculture, services, education, or industry. The volunteer program is for 2-6 months. Ulpan students live on kibbutz for 5 months where they work 3 days and study Hebrew 3 days a week. The program offers trips and tours in Israel as well as social and educational activities. It is a great way to explore your Jewish heritage and get connected with your Jewish roots. Kibbutzes are located throughout Israel. Magen David Adom Program: 2 months of volunteering with other volunteers on ambulances. Program offered in the winter and the summer. Qualifications: age 19-35, prerequisite: EMT, Internships Program, 2 6-month internships designed according to individual requests of students and young professionals.

Fauzi Azar Inn

The Fauzi Azar Inn is a gorgeous two century-old stone house located in the heart of Nazareth, the largest city in the mountainous Galilee region of northern Israel. The inn itself is situated in the heart of the Souq (Market) Quarter of the Old City, next to the vegetable market and only a few minutes from a host of restaurants and coffee shops. All of Nazareth's major sites are only minutes by foot.

The Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv is the younger branch in the Abraham Hostels network and is located in the beating heart of Tel Aviv, surrounded by many of the city's hottest spots. The Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv hosts guests from around the world who enjoy its warm atmosphere, convenient location, friendly staff, daily events and tours, and extensive facilities. We're searching for hard working, self-motivated, qualified, and flexible volunteers that can handle both high pressure and extreme fun!
Hostel Volunteer
The volunteer project was created in order to improve the family feeling of the hostel and contribute to the atmosphere by interacting with like-minded international travelers.
The volunteers become an integral part of the staff, contributing to the imperative tasks required to running the day to day operations of the hostel. For example, volunteers will help to serve breakfast, help in recycling, arrange evening events, assist in the bar and escort people to tours starting point.

Volunteers live in a shared 6-bed dorm room, occupied solely by hostel volunteers. It’s a mixed-sex dorm, with men and women living together. The room includes a shower and toilets, free WiFi, air-conditioning and a small fridge. Towels and linens are provided. Volunteers are also welcome to use the hostel facilities such as the communal kitchen, computer room, TV lounge, bar, and a rooftop terrace. We encourage our volunteers to go on our tours which they get for free (based on availability) and also to stay in other hostels around Israel, most of them for free or at a major discount.
