Lifeworks China — Teen Volunteer Abroad Program
Despite a remarkable history of dynasties and culture, a booming population stresses China's economy. An astonishing number of children, especially those who are disabled, are left orphaned because their parents simply cannot afford to raise them.
Our China participants work under the leadership of professional staff and assist the efforts of foundations dedicated to providing medical support and programs for orphaned children. Working with the foundation members, our mission is to offer nurturing care to the infants, as well as provide essential childhood experiences through playing, creating art, and having fun.
