Volunteer in Chile
Volunteer Abroad in Chile — United Planet — 2-12 Weeks
United Planet's Quests offer volunteers the opportunity to learn, teach, work, engage and immerse themselves in a culture outside their comfort zone. Join us from 2 to 12 weeks – engage children in activities at a daycare and women’s shelter, teach English, work in a physical rehabilitation center, and assist at a medical facility. Volunteers live with a local host family, participate in cultural activities and excursions, and receive 24/7 support – a true immersion experience that allows you to build relationships that last a lifetime.
|| Dates: Ongoing; programs start every Sunday.
Cost: Varies with duration of your stay. Please visit our website for details.

Gap Chile is looking for lively volunteers who want to learn Spanish
and help build up the small communities that surround them.
Gap Chile was set up by a Chilean Family who wants to welcome
Volunteers into their home and show them the Chilean Culture.
Volunteers can pick and mix their monthly activities from teaching
English in a Nursery school to helping a local Surf Project.
Projects involve teaching English in a Nursery schoo, working
at a women rehabilitation center, helping the Red Cross, and
Gap Chile is linked closely to the Chilean Ministry.

Social Impact Interns/Volunteers in Chile
Social Impact Interns help implement our 4 educational programs: ¡Vamos a Leer!, Festival de Arte, Liga de Deportes, and English in Motion. Each intern is placed in one of our partner social service organizations where they mentor children in a variety of ways, from assisting with homework to playing games to creating and running their own workshops and activities. Volunteers build strong relationships with the children for whom they provide support, friendship and the chance to just have fun!
