CIEE offers you two choices in Chile:
Teach Abroad in Chile positions are based in the cities of Santiago, Valparaíso, or Viña del Mar; where you will teach English to students at high school or college level. Program benefits include pre-departure TEFL certification course, paid teaching position, in-country orientation and mid-semester reflection workshop, temporary housing upon arrival, travel and medical insurance, and CIEE pre-departure and emergency support.

The Teach Immersion Chile program is perfect for service-learning enthusiasts that want to reach out to rural communities off the beaten tourist trail and immerse themselves deeply into Chilean culture and language. Program benefits include a placement at a primary school with stipend, accommodations and meals with a host family, two in-country orientations and mid-semester reflection workshop, travel and medical insurance, and CIEE pre-departure and emergency support.

Dates: The Teach Abroad in Chile program is for the full academic year and begins in late February. The Teach Immersion Chile program begins during the last week of May and requires a commitment through the end of November.
