Teach English in China
Christian organization which places native speaker teachers in schools and colleges. The Teachers Program is a project through which people from around the world are recruited and sponsored by church agencies working in partnership with Amity and sent to China to teach English, Japanese, or German. A typical Amity placement is in a college which prepares future middle school teachers, usually in a small or medium-sized city. English Teaching Program in China
The program begins with three-week intensive courses in Beijing, in Chinese language (4 levels; the beginning course requires no prior study of Chinese) and in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (with supervised practice classroom teaching), taught by American faculty at Beijing University, China’s premier liberal arts university. Housing at Beijing University is included, as are tours of the Great Wall and in Beijing, and first-class train ticket for group travel from Beijing to Shenzhen. The training in Beijing is specifically geared to equip you with the skills to be a successful teacher in Shenzhen.
