University of Cambridge International Summer Programmes
Study for 1-6 weeks at the University of Cambridge this summer. Choose from a wide range of programs, stay in traditional College accommodation and join a vibrant community of international students. Courses are taught at undergraduate level by leading subject specialists, with the option to write essays for credit from your home institution.

Programmes run from 8 July to 18 August 2018 and include: Business and Entrepreneurship (new), Science, Literature, Creative Writing, History, Art and Visual Culture (new), Ancient and Classical Worlds, Medieval Studies, Shakespeare and Interdisciplinary Studies.

We also offer a three-week program in English Law and Legal Methods for law students and lawyers.

In addition to this mix of subjects and teaching quality, you can meet participants from all over the world and join social activities and weekend excursions.

Adventure Ireland

Biblical Archaeology Society
Learn from 2 eminent Bible scholars/archaeologists while enjoying the charm of St. Edmund Hall and the historic city of Oxford. Included are 20 lecures, numerous built-in field trips (Ashmolean, Bodleian, Cambridge Univ. Library, British Museum), optional day trips to Bath and Stonehenge, and optional extended stay. Eleven days of sharing your interest in the Bible and archaeology with new friends and professors.


British Studies at Oxford
This program of study in one of the world's most prestigious universities offers undergraduate and graduate credit in art history, business, communication, drama, education, English literature, history, and political science taught by Oxford Univ. professors. The participants live in private rooms tidied daily by the college staff, who also serve 3 bountiful and tasty meals a day in the Great Hall. Field trips are an integral part of each course as well as group trips to the theater in Stratford-upon-Avon and London.

By the end of the week you’ll be playing your first tune! Morning classes are a hoot, there’s no music theory, no pressure and no rush. Afternoons are free to explore the most beautiful part of Ireland.


Travel Writing Workshops
Travel Writing Workshop
A day-long workshop for those new to travel writing or who would like to improve their writing skills.
Suitable for those who want to write articles or books, this small, intensive workshop, led by award-winning writers Dea Birkett and Rory Maclean, aims to make an editor or publisher only say 'Yes!'
Included in the day is a 'pitching session' with an editor from a national publication. Many participants get their first pieces into print as a result of pitching here.
Travel Writing Masterclass
A day-long, small, intensive travel writing workshop for those who have some experience of travel writing or have already attended the Travel Writing Workshop.
Led by tutors Dea Birkett and Rory Maclean, participants work on a piece of writing to get it to perfection. The day includes one-on-one sessions with Rory and Dea.
As one participant said, 'This single day with Dea and Rory has refocussed by whole life.'
