Buddhist Studies in Bodh Gaya, India
Carleton College, one of the nation’s top liberal arts colleges, operates the Buddhist Studies in India program previously offered by Antioch Education Abroad.
Running since 1979, this program has become recognized for the academic excellence of its comparative approach to both the theory and practice of Buddhism. Students study and meditate while living in a monastery near the site of Buddha Shakyamuni’s enlightenment and complete a month-long Independent Study Project.

ELI Abroad
Semester or Year in India
India embodies everything that is exotic. It is a country that combines better than any other a respect for its past and a thirst for the new, where a woman in a sari might be a cutting-edge engineer, where Hollywood is overshadowed by Bollywood. Studying at the University of Madras will give you a chance to experience this first hand. Here you can study the history of South Indian dance or the issues of nuclear proliferation, Indian English literature or business administration.

University Studies Abroad Consortium
