Italian Interior Design Workshop in Florence, Italy
Our 3-week design workshop takes place in the heart of Florence where participants learn first-hand about the Italian world of design from professionals in Italy. In this course, students will investigate a famous fashion griffe starting from the analysis of its manufacturing, such as accessories and clothes, and to translate its philosophy into a space reflecting its particular atmosphere. The course will include classes, visits and study time to work on a personal project. Visits to museums, studios and workshops and lectures by special guests will introduce design students to the complexities of the development of the interior spaces and to the culture of Italian interior design. |

Summer Commedia dell’Arte Workshop in Florence, Italy
The 3-week course is geared toward understanding the theatrical experience as a fun and useful game for developing your own creativity and expressiveness. The course focuses on reading, understanding, and interpreting scenes, characters and stories contained in major classical texts. Theater as an intellectual exercise and as a strongly emotional experience will be explored in this course. The workshop will combine body expression/language and acting. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the characters of Commedia and to dance to a choreographed Renaissance noble Italian dance.
