Beth Whitman has been traveling the globe for more than 22 years and considers herself a travel addict—well aware of the fact that new destinations set off the serotonin in her brain far better than chocolate ever could. Her more adventurous accomplishments include riding a motorcycle, solo, from Seattle to Panama; spending a year backpacking around the Pacific Rim countries; and driving from New Jersey to Alaska, twice. She has traveled hundreds of thousands of miles (and counting) around the globe and most enjoys travel to developing countries, where she’s enamored by the vibrant and bustling markets and the warm and open people.
Beth has been called the "Guru of Women’s Travel" and is the author of the Wanderlust and Lipstick guides for women travelers including The Essential Guide for Women Traveling Solo, For Women Traveling to India and is the publisher of Traveling with Kids. She is also the editor of www.WanderlustAndLipstick.com. Eager to share exotic parts of the world with others, Beth leads tours to Bhutan and India.
